StoneRidge Awards Scholarships to Practical Nursing Graduates
The 99th graduating class of the Practical Nursing Program of the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center received their diplomas and nursing pins at a ceremony at the center’s auditorium. Of the 33 graduates, five received scholarships from StoneRidge Retirement Living Communities. The awarding of the scholarships was based on each graduate’s academic performance throughout the program.
Angela Snader, who ranked first in her class, received $500; Theona Wagner ranked second and received $400 and Lal Tamang ranked third and received $300. The nursing faculty nominated two additional scholarship recipients. These include the student who overcame the most obstacles in the completion of the program, Alaina Maguire who received $150; and the student who showed the most improvement in the program, Alyssa Rivera who received $150.
