Our independent living features two types of living on our campus; apartments or cottages. Our apartments feature various floor plans, upgraded kitchens and the option for you to select other finishes for your new home. The cottages allow you all of the options of our apartments while giving you a little more privacy. Our activities program is expansive offering the more typical programming such as BINGO, but also incorporates trips to theaters, sporting events, fashion shows and many educational offerings to continue your lifelong learning adventure. Our chef prepares made to order meals in our Vistas Restaurant for your daily dining. Many specialty cuisines are available during our monthly themed events along with themed entertainment.
In addition, our independent living features many services to make it easy to live your life to the fullest. Bi-weekly housekeeping, a monthly meal credit, cable TV, transportation for medical appointments, greenhouse, garden plots and storage areas for those extra holiday decorations are all included. When you still want to be living an independent life but start to need a little extra help to complete your tasks of daily living, personal care can be the answer. We feature private rooms offering assistance 24-hours a day and compassionate nursing aides who can help you remain independent but safely live your life. Three chef prepared meals plus snacks, help with your medications, assistance with bathing and dressing and housekeeping are all included in the monthly fee. Our activities department, as well as the outpatient therapy team, help keep you active while enriching your mind and body. We have an in-house chaplain to help fulfill your spirit as well as weekly religious services. Residents have plenty of places to have guests and family visit and stay connected.
When a skilled nurse is needed for more care throughout the day or more intensive care, skilled nursing is an option. This service is on campus and just a short walk from all other levels of living. Skilled nursing offers 24-hour nursing services, compassionate and dedicated certified nursing assistants and an activities staff that will keep you engaged in life inside and outside of the community. We also have many groups that come to the community to perform music, to read a story or just to share a smile. We concentrate on enhancing the dignity of all of our residents. Physical, occupational and speech therapists are available to assist you in maintaining your optimal level of living.
